Congress General Information
CONGRESS DATES:

PROGRAMME:
The scientific programme will commence on Thursday 29 June 2006 from 09.30
The plenary programme will continue on Friday 30 June from 07.00 -18.15 and continue on Saturday 1 July from 09.00 - 15.00. Each presentation will be 10 minutes with 10 minute discussion
EDUCATION POINTS:
The Royal Society of Medicine has awarded
5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits to the meeting.
We have also applied for 20.5 Continous Medical Enducation (CME) points from the UEMS Board of Surgery.
EVF PRIZE:
The EVF Prize will be awarded to the best 10 minute communication according to originality and quality. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
TRANSPORT:
The RSM is based in Central London , with excellent tube and mainline station access. 1 Wimpole Street is located behind House of Fraser, off Oxford Street.

By underground and train
Bond Street and Oxford Circus underground stations are equidistant from the RSM, both with direct connections from Victoria, Marylebone, Kings Cross, Euston, Waterloo, Paddington and Liverpool Street.
By road
Wimpole Street is one way, approached from Henrietta Place.
Car Parks are located in Cavendish Square and Marylebone Lane, both five minutes away. There is a Master Park Car Park in Chandos Street just a few minutes away from Chandos House.
By air
Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead airports offer good transport links into Central London. Depending on your means of transport, we advise a minimum of an hour and a half to get to the RSM from the airport.
London Heathrow airport is approximately 24Km away with direct access to the centre of town via the Piccadilly underground network or main line service direct to Paddington mainline/underground station.
Gatwick airport is approximately 44Km away with access into Victoria mainline/underground station.
Stansted airport has access into Liverpool Street mainline/underground station.
London City airport is approximately 10 Km away with access into London via the Docklands railway system.

The Congress will open on Thursday 29th June at 09.30 and will close on Saturday 1st July at 15.00.
