Congress language
The official language of the congress is English. Simultaneous translation will not be provided.

A certificate of attendance will be available for all participants at the registration desk.

Accreditation (…C.P.) will be obtained for this meeting.

Liability and Insurance
Neither the Organisers nor the Conference Secretariat will assume any responsibility whatsoever for damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
Participants are recommended to arrange their personal travel and health insurance.

Changes
The Organisers reserve the right to adjust or change the programme as necessary.

Useful practical information

Passports and visas.
Requirements for U.S. and Canadian citizens: valid passports without visa, provided their stay does not exceed 90 days. For other nationalities only a valid passport is required. In case of doubt, consult the Belgian Consulate in your area.

Parking P-route ‘Centrum’ brings you to one of the car parks nearby the Hilton Hotel: Parking ‘Groenplaats’ and Parking ‘Meir’ are just in front of the hotel (± 15 € / 24h)

Train                                                                                                                              
Both international trains and inter-city trains stop in Antwerpen-Centraal (central station). From the railway station to the Hilton Hotel is only a 10’ walk along the shopping streets ‘Keyserlei’ and  ‘Meir’.

Brussels Airport (Zaventem)
- 30’ drive from Antwerp city centre
- National carrier: SN Brussels Airlines www.snbrusselsairlines.com
- Transport from/to the airport: SN Brussels Airlines Express bus (= direct shuttle service to Crowne Plaza Hotel and to Keyserlei nearby the central train station).  At the exit hall of the airport proceed immediately to the right and go down to ‘level 0’ – Bus departure is every hour during daytime. In Antwerp, from the Keyserlei to the Hilton Hotel is only a 10’ walk along the shopping streets ‘Keyserlei’ and  ‘Meir’.

Antwerp Airport (Deurne)
- 15 minutes drive from Antwerp
- Regional carrier: VLM Airlines www.flyvlm.com  (direct flights from London City, Manchester, Frankfurt…)
- Connection city centre-airport: bus 14 ‘De Lijn’ (connection between airport and railway station) or by taxi.

Climate
The weather in Antwerp in June is usually sunny and pleasant. However, it is recommended to bring a raincoat. Daytime average temperature is around 20° Celsius.

Currency
The official currency in Belgium is the EURO (€). 

Bank service
Hours : Monday through Friday 9.00 to 16.00 (some closing for an hour at lunch time)

Shops
The shops are open from 09:30/10:00 to 18:00/18:30 hrs. Monday through Friday and 09:00 to 17:00 on Saturday.

Electricity
Electricity is supplied at 220 volts A/C, 50 Hz cycle.
