The European Venous Forum is pleased to announce the first Workshop on Venous Disease to be held in Larnaca, Cyprus from 4-6 November 2010.
The programme will commence with lectures in the morning, followed by case presentations and 15 hours of hands-on workshops in the afternoon. The overall objective is to focus on treatment of chronic venous disorders in practice. Therefore, the workshops will be truly hands-on. The topics of the workshops will include: Duplex scanning; venous ablation using RF, laser or foam sclerotherapy; use of compression stockings; application of bandages; early thrombus removal using catheter-based techniques; angioplasty and stenting of ilio-caval obstructions; use of the intravascular ultrasound (IVUS); and insertion of IVC filters. Each delegate will have to individually complete each workshop and will receive a diploma of completion of the course.
The venue is the exclusive 5 star Golden Bay Hotel which has excellent conference facilities. It is situated in the hear of the Bay of Larnaca, just outside of the town and approximately 14 km from Larnanca International Airport.
Its sister hotel, the 4 star Lordos Beach Hotel is situated next to the Golden Bay Hotel. Both hotels have excellent facilities for families including mini club, garden playground etc.
We look forward to welcoming you to Cyprus for the first EVF Venous Course.
